FedEx launches Golf Anywhere Challenge

Love to play golf? Well, FedEx wants you to show us just how much by creating a video of one minute or less and entering it in the FedEx Golf Anywhere Challenge.

The videos should be creative and demonstrate how passionate you are about the game. As long as the video includes a golf club, a ball, and is not deemed indecent, FedEx will post in on www.fedexcup.com/golf-anywhere.

Fans will be invited to view, vote and share those videos with others. Five finalists will be selected and the winner will receive a trip to THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, as well as Callaway and Odyssey equipment and apparel.

The contest was developed to support FedEx's involvement with the FedExCup and the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. It will conclude the first week of September during the third Playoff event, the BMW Championship.

The Playoffs begin Aug. 21 with a field of 144 at The Barclays. Only 30 players advance to the final Playoff event, THE TOUR Championship, which will decide the winner of the $10 million bonus, the largest single bonus payout in sports.

The total FedExCup bonus pool is $35 million, and every player who reaches the Playoffs will get a share.

Golf Anywhere is the first FedEx contest to feature user-generated content. The website, www.fedexcup.com/golf-anywhere, was created by Atmosphere BBDO, the long-time digital advertising agency for FedEx.

The contest is introduced and explained by a new character for FedEx -- The Caddie, who offers a unique mix of business as well as golf insights with a quirky kind of wisdom that can only come from lots of experience on the golf course.
