Talent Bios

Fred Albers

For more than two decades, Albers has been a fixture on the pro golf scene. His wife, Kristi Albers, is a 23-year veteran and tournament winner on the LPGA Tour, and Albers has caddied for her in majors, covered tournaments for newspapers and local television stations, and announced golf on numerous networks. A native of St. Louis and proud graduate of the University of Missouri, Albers is a veteran sportscaster in El Paso, Texas when he's not working as an on-course correspondent for the PGA TOUR Network.

Doug Bell

With a wide range of experience (play-by-play announcer, studio host, reporter and producer) covering various sports (basketball, football, and golf) for numerous networks (ESPN, FOX and regional cable), Bell brings a wealth of broadcasting knowledge to the PGA TOUR Network. The University of Florida graduate and Birmingham, Ala. resident is also a regular participant in the Alabama State Amateur when he's not working as host or on-course correspondent.

Mark Carnevale

The winner of the 1992 Chattanooga Classic, Carnevale was named 1992 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year. Following a distinguished playing career, Carnevale covered the PGA TOUR for ESPN and the GOLF CHANNEL, and also, served as Tournament Director of the Virginia Beach Open (Nationwide Tour) and Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn (Champions Tour) before joining the PGA TOUR Network as an on-course correspondent.

Michael Collins

With more than 20 years experience as a professional stand-up comedian, as well as seven years walking the fairways of the PGA TOUR as a caddy, Collins brings a unique and diverse background to his role as correspondent on the PGA TOUR Network. He was also a regular contributor to "PGA TOUR Sunday" on USA Network, and has been a self-described golf lover since birth.

Brian Katrek

For nearly two decades, Katrek has been broadcasting and producing golf coverage for television, radio, print and Internet outlets, ranging from local programming in and around his hometown of Atlanta, Ga. to International telecasts broadcast throughout the world for the PGA TOUR. In addition to his work as host and occasional on-course correspondent for the PGA TOUR Network, Katrek is a scratch golfer who has caddied for friends on the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour.

Maureen Madill

The first woman from the United Kingdom to play collegiate golf in the United States on scholarship, Madill attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. After winning two British Amateur titles, she turned pro and spent 12 years playing on the Ladies' European Tour. Following back surgery, Madill has focused her career on coaching and broadcasting for various networks including the BBC, and works as an on-course correspondent for the PGA TOUR Network when her schedule allows.

John Maginnes

Following nearly a decade as a member of the PGA TOUR, Maginnes joined USA Network as an on-course reporter during the network's early-round coverage. In addition to his accomplishments on the PGA TOUR, Maginnes was a three-time winner on the Nationwide Tour before joining the PGA TOUR Network as an analyst and occasional on-course correspondent.

Dennis Paulson

The winner of The Barclays in 2000 when the tournament was known as the Buick Classic, Paulson is known as one of the longest hitters of his era, and has played in more than 230 PGA TOUR events over the past two decades. When he's not working as an analyst and on-course correspondent for the PGA TOUR Network, "The Chief" also engages in golf-course design and still competes on the PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour.

Larry Rinker

Following a PGA TOUR career that included starts in more than 500 events and nearly 300 made cuts across each of the past three decades, Rinker has covered the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour in recent years as a broadcaster. Before joining the PGA TOUR Live announce team in 2008 as an analyst and on-course correspondent, "Rink" contributed to coverage on ESPN, GOLF CHANNEL and USA Network.

Bob Stevens

A former college classmate of Nancy Lopez, Hank Haney and Ron Streck at the University of Tulsa, Stevens opted for a career in broadcasting after graduating. Following six years as a "SportsCenter" anchor for ESPN, a stint as the play-by-play voice of Army football, and managing editor of the Golfer's Guide publications, Stevens now enjoys life in Hilton Head, S.C. when he's not broadcasting as an on-course correspondent and occasional host for the PGA TOUR Network.

John Tautges

With more than three decades as a television and radio announcer to his credit, Tautges brings a wealth of experience to his role as host and anchor on the PGA TOUR Network. In addition to previously hosting coverage of golf's major championships for Westwood One/CBS Radio, Tautges has also provided play-by-play coverage of NCAA football and basketball games, and has hosted the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Wimbledon and the Olympics.

Brett Wright

A native of Augusta, Ga. and one-time employee of Augusta National, Wright is a veteran Class A PGA Golf Professional in the Georgia PGA and has been an administrator, caddie and touring professional over the past two decades. In addition to his work as an on-course correspondent for the PGA TOUR Network, Wright has contributed to such outlets as Sporting News Radio, ESPN Radio, SEN Radio in Australia, GOLF CHANNEL and FOX Sports Network.
