Of all of Tiger Woods' victories, none are sweeter than the major championships that he's won.

"These are the most fun events to play in, the major championships," Tiger once said. " I just thoroughly enjoy coming down the stretch on the back nine with a chance to win it. That's why I practice as hard as I do and what I live for. That to me is the ultimate rush in our sport is on that back nine on Sunday with a chance to win a major championship."

No player has won more majors as a professional than Jack Nicklaus, who has 18. But Tiger has been steadily closing in since his first major victory at the 1997 Masters. Tiger currently has 14 majors. Here's a look at his performance chart in the majors:
